I’ve had Boston Terriers in my family for 19 years. They are not my source of Income.
I am a stay at home christian mom. I am a animal lover. We have have always had many varieties of pets.We as a family are fourth generation of dog breeders. Our family bred greyhounds and actually bred the GREYHOUND you see on the Greyhound bus lines today and our family also raised Bostons which is where I was first introduced to the breed. We had always owned a Rottweiler as our family pet until we lost our favorite companion “Hersheena” to and infection in her uterus she contracted when she was in heat. She is sadly missed by all.
We breed our dogs for quality, this is very important to know when getting a new puppy we are very particular that our pups go to homes that love them as much as we do our pups are checked by the vet and are have a bill of good health.
We are currently in the process of DNA testing our dogs for the gene that carries the early onset Juvenile Cataract (DNA for JC). Our goal is to produce quality sound good tempered dogs that do well in the show ring. Most of all any boston terrier and French Bulldogs that we own/ breed are a to be a well adjusted healthy family member. When we have pets available, they are placed on spay/neuter contracts and limited AKC registration.
I am Gwenn , my Mom, Marie and my daughter, Janee are all involved in the sport of dogs. We are Exhibitors and Breeders of quality Boston Terriers and French Bulldogs. Located in southwestern Pennsylvania. We have owned Boston Terriers since 1996 but Bostons have been in our family since the 1920’s when my great grandmother raised them.
We are an active Show and Breeding Private Hobby Kennel, and have bred well over 35 AKC Champions in addition to being the #1 Boston Terrier Breeder in the USA in 1995 and 1996.
Davane Kennels, owned by Tom and Joyce Davis, have moved. We are now located in Ohioville, Pennsylvania. It’s only twenty minutes away from where we built our championship show kennel. At present, we are limiting showing and do not have any litters currently. We are planning for later this year!
